The European Commission decided on 17 Jan’22 to continue with anti-dumping (AD) measures on grain-oriented electrical steel sheets made in Japan. The taxation measures will continue with the tax rate unchanged. “Even if the AD measures for Japanese grain-oriented electrical steel sheets are abolished, it is inappropriate to dismiss these allegations and decide to continue the measures,” the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF) stated.
