State-owned steel producer Vizag Steel conducted a pooled iron auction on 18 Jan’22. Buyers booked the entire quantity of 1,550 t at INR 38,400/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 2,400/t compared with the previous auction on 10 Jan at which 1,800 t of pooled iron had been booked at INR 36,000/t exw.
