Jharkhand-based mills conclude billet deals for north India

Ramgarh-based steel mills sold 2,700 t of billets at INR 46,700-47,000/t exw basis to Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar. Mills also sold 1,800 t of sponge iron, PDRI, at INR 31,800-32,200/t exw, on 100% advance payment terms. Higher sponge iron and steelmaking raw material prices are keeping billet prices supported, SteelMint notes.
