India: Patra prices edge up sharply in Raipur

HR strip (patra) prices increased by INR 1,000/t in Raipur on 17 Jan’22 off the back of rising billet prices, as per SteelMint assessment. Current offers for base grade patra (148-200 mm, 2mm thick) are assessed at INR 50,000/t exw-Raipur. Meanwhile, prices are assessed at INR 51,000/t exw-Mandi Gobindgarh – higher by INR 700/t d-o-d. Prices exclude GST at 18%.
