The Indonesian government has allowed 37 coal-laden vessels to depart the country’s shores that have fulfilled their DMOs. As many as 18 vessels carrying around 1.3 mn t of coal received the Energy Ministry’s verification on 13 Jan’22 and have been allowed to depart. The majority of such vessels are set for China followed by Japan, South Korea and India.
