China: Social steel inventory rises slightly over last 10 days of Dec’21

At the end of the first 10 days of Jan’22, social inventory of HRC, CRC, mid-sized plates, rebar and wire rod in 21 key cities in China stood at 7.93 mn t, up 50,000 t or 0.6% from the previous 10-day period. Steel inventory marked a slight rebound after decreasing for some time but fell by 0.3% from the same period last year.
