CoalMint heard a deal for 16,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal getting booked at a discount of $6/t to the Jan’22 API4 index at $159/t FOB on 13 Jan. The shipment is scheduled for arrival at Paradip Port by end-Jan, while the freight between RBCT and Paradip is assessed at $23/t. Coal stocks at RBCT Port have declined to a multi-year low of 1.9 mn t.
