Domestic rebar prices has gathered momentum over the last couple of days. Prices increased in the range of INR 100-800/t across major regions except Chennai in south India. Sharp rise in steel billet prices lent support to rebar prices and prompted suppliers to increase prices. Buying enquiries and transactions, however, varied across regions.
