Leading Vietnamese steel producer, Hoa Phat, has reduced HRC prices by $60-65/t m-o-m for Mar’22 despatches, Vietnam-based sources informed.
- Offers for HRC (SAE 1006, skinpass) are at $732-736/t on CIF basis.
- Price reduction by Formosa Ha Tinh and continual decline in import offers from major exporting nations are the key factors.
- In CY’21, the company sold around 8.8 mn t of finished steel products.
