Steel wire rod manufacturers in Raipur increased prices further today after a hike of INR 200/t in the late hours yesterday evening. Prices were raised by INR 500/t to INR 49,500/t exw with trade discounts of INR 500/t via sellers. However, traders are offering discounts of INR 800-1,000/t. Rise in billet prices triggered the increase in wire rod, but trade enquiries are still subdued on high spot price.
