India: 500 t of pig iron booked at SAIL-DSP auction

Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) held an auction for 500 t of steel grade pig iron on 11 Jan’22 from the Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 41,310/t exw, sources informed SteelMint. SteelMint’s daily assessment for steel grade pig iron stood at INR 41,900/t exw-Durgapur on 11 Jan.
