A Jharsuguda, Odisha-based mill has reported a 1,000 t steel grade pig iron deal at around INR 39,000/t exw. Prices have moved up by INR 300/t against deals at INR 38,700/t on 31 Dec’21.
- Rising steel prices and resumption of pig iron exports have resulted in domestic pig iron prices firming up.
- Prices in Durgapur have increased by INR 1,900/t w-o-w to INR 41,800-42,000/t exw.
