Iran: Domestic billet prices edge down on falling base prices at IME

Domestic billet prices in Iran are witnessing a downtrend after recovering last week due to the pressure from the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) and declining base prices at IME, sources confirmed.

• Steel billet prices stood at 135,500 Rial/kg on 10 Jan’22, a drop of 500 Rial/kg against the closing on 5 Jan.
• Rebar prices fell by 1,000 rial/kg to 151,000 rial/kg on 10 Jan.
