State-owned IDCOL Ferro Chrome & Alloys Limited has floated a tender for the sale of High Carbon Ferro Chrome (HCFC) of quantity 1200 MT approximately, out of which 1000 MT is offered for HCFC (Cr 57 – 64%) lumps, and 200 MT for HCFC (Cr 60 – 65%) lumps. The last date for receipt of bids is 3.00 PM on 6 May, 2013.
Domestic offers for HC Ferro Chrome of grade 60%, with carbon content of 6-8% are in the range of Rs. 68,500 – 70,000 /MT. It is to be noted that the fall in HC Ferro Chrome prices are in line with the lower bids received for OMC's recent e-auction, where prices fell by 18-20%.
