India: Tata Steel posts steel production at 14.16 mn t in Apr-Dec’21

Tata Steel’s production volumes stood at 14.16 mn t in 9MFY’22 (Apr-Dec’21), an increase of 16% compared to 12.18 mn t in the same period last year. In Q3FY’22, steel output increased marginally by 1.5% to 4.8 mn t.

Steel sales grew by 4% to 13.15 mn t in 9MFY’22 versus 12.63 mn t in the same period last year. However, q-o-q, sales volumes dipped 4% to 4.41 mn t in Q3FY’22.
