A leading Indian steel mill recently concluded an export deal for 25,000 t of BF rebar (B500B) to Hong Kong, sources informed SteelMint. The deal was heard concluded at $705/t CFR Hong Kong on actual weight (AW) basis for Jan’22 shipment. Indian rebar export prices have risen by around $5/t compared to the last-concluded tender in end-Dec’21. Fresh offers for Feb’22 shipments are heard at around $710-715/t CFR.
