Korea Midland Power Company Limited (KOMIPO) is inviting bid for purchase of Bituminous Coal for its Boryeong power plant in South Korea.
KOMIPO is looking for Australian, Canadian, S. African, Colombian or Russian Coal.
Eligibility
- Supplied Coal should be from single mines, Shipment of Coal from more than one mine shall not be considered
- Bidder shall have experience of supplying 300,000 MT Coal with 5 (five) generation subsidiaries of KEPCO, Tai-power and Japanese power utilities including J-Power can participate in this bid
- Bidders who did not have experience of supplying Coal in above motioned subsidiaries for past 3 years cannot participate in this tender

- Gross Calorific Value (NAR): 5,700 Kcal/Kg min
- Total Moisture (as received): 15% max
- Ash (Air Dried): 17% max
- Volatile Matter (Air Dried): 22-26 max
- Fixed Carbon (Air Dried): 60% max
