PSU steel giant Steel Authority of India (SAIL) has recently announced a roll-over in its list prices of rebar (12-32mm, IS 1786 Fe-500D) at around INR 54,500/t ($733/t) exy-Mumbai basis, effective from Jan 1’22. However, on a m-o-m basis, list prices of rebar have witnessed a drop of around 3,500-4,000/t ($47-54/t) as a result of sluggish demand, SteelMint notes.
