Iran: Domestic billet prices rise on recovery in buying interest

Steel billet prices in Iran recovered on renewed buying interest among re-rollers after limited bookings seen over the past three weeks, sources informed SteelMint.

• Billet prices stood at 136,000 Rial/kg on 5 Jan’22, a rise of 1,000 Rial/kg against the closing on 3 Jan.
• Rebar prices remain stable at 152,000 Rial/kg.
