SAIL conducted an auction for 600 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 3-10mm) on 4 Jan’22 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. Buyers booked 400 t of silico manganese (Mn 52%, 0-3mm) at INR 58,750/t and 200 t (Mn 57%, 3-10mm) at INR 82,900/t . At the previous auction on 23 Dec, around 200 t of silico manganese (Mn 52%, 0-3mm) was booked at INR 56,300/t and 200 t (Mn 57%, 3-10mm) at INR 74,300/t .
