Turkey’s scrap imports up more than 30%, m-o-m, in Nov’21

Turkey’s ferrous scrap imports rose by 32% to 2.04 mn t in Nov’21 vis-a-vis 1.55 mn t in Oct’21, as per SteelMint data.
USA was the top exporter to Turkey with 0.38 mn t in Nov, followed by the Netherlands and the UK with 0.31 mn t and 0.14 mn t, respectively.
On a yearly basis, scrap imports show a marginal rise of 1% against 2.01 mn t in Nov’20.
