SAIL has scheduled an auction for 6,000 t of steel grade pig iron from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh for 6 Jan’22. At the previous auction on 22 Dec, 10,000 t of pig iron was booked at a weighted average price of INR 37,920/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bid prices increased by INR 500/t compared to an earlier auction on 8 Dec.
