Tata Metaliks has increased basic grade pig iron prices by INR 700/t ($9/t) or about 2% and fresh prices stood at INR 41,600/t. However, the company has kept for foundry grade stable at INR 44,200/t. Prices are exw-Kharagpur and applicable for the Kolkata and Howrah markets.
The pig iron prices rebound in domestic market with rising steel prices and resumptions in exports.
