Taiwan’s Yieh United Steel Corp (Yusco) has lowered the price of 304 hot-rolled and cold-rolled stainless steel products by NTD 6,000/t ($216/t) and also lowered the price of 430 and 316L grade products for domestic sales in Jan’22. Yusco’s price reduction is mainly due to lack of support from Asian buyers, weak steel prices in China, and requests from domestic consumers for price cuts.
