Export offers for HDGI (hot dipped galvanised iron) coils (0.50mm, 900-1,250mm) further fell by $45/t to $1,075-1,100/t FOB west coast India on account of dull trade activities in the global market during the year-end holidays.
India’s HDGI exports in Jan-Nov’21 stood at around 2.06 mn t. JSW Steel accounted for around 65% of overall exports, while the second largest exporter, AM/NS India, had a share of 25% of total exports.
