State-owned steel producer Vizag Steel conducted an auction for 2,150 t of pooled iron on 28 Dec’21. As per sources, except just one lot, buyers booked the entire quantity at INR 35,550/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 150/t compared with the previous auction on 20 Dec at which around 1,000 t of pooled iron was booked at INR 35,350/t exw.
