SAIL conducted an auction yesterday for 4,000 t (two rakes) of steel grade pig iron from Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) in Jharkhand. Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 38,200/t exw, sources informed. Bid prices remained stable compared to the previous auction on 22 Dec at which a similar quantity of material was booked at the same price.
