CRCA busheling scrap prices rose by INR 300-900/t in key markets today. Given substantial trades in semi-finished steel, sellers increased prices amidst tight supplies. However, an exodus of buyers from the market may force sellers to adjust offers. CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 41,700-42,100/t in Mandi Gobindhgarh, INR 39,600-40,000/t in Chennai, and INR 38,800-39,200/t in Jalna, all on a DAP basis.
