Domestic rebar prices increased sharply today by INR 100-1,200/t d-o-d across regions. Hike in steel billet prices and active buying enquiries supported rebar producers to increase prices today in the spot market. Besides, adequate booking orders with manufacturers for approximately three-five days indicates that prices may remain supported in the coming days.
