China’s Country-wise Pellet Imports in Jan-Nov’21

China’s pellet imports decreased 54% in Jan-Nov’21 to 21.01 million tonnes (mn t). In the first 11 months of CY’21, China’s pellet imports from India reached 6.81 mn t, Ukraine 3.75 mn t, Australia 1.90 mn t, Brazil 1.83 mn t, Canada 1.70 mn t and Kazakhstan 1.67 mn t. It is to be noted that China imported 45.05 mn t pellet in CY’20, up 38% y-o-y.
