China’s coal production in Jan-Nov’21 increased by 4% to 3,674 million tonnes (mn t). Shanxi province become the largest coal producing province with 1,090 mn t. Compared to last year, Shanxi’s production increased by 11%. Inner Mongolia is the second largest coal producing province with 930 mn t followed by Shaanxi Province which is in third place with 635 mnt.
