India: Bellary sponge iron prices fall marginally, trade volumes improve

Sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%) and C-DRI, prices in Bellary rose by INR 200/t on 22 Dec’21.

• SteelMint’s assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 29,000/t ($384) with around 3,800 t deals being reported.
• About 5,900 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 27,800-28,200/t. Trade volume increased by 39% d-o-d. Most of the deals were concluded for Hindupur region.
