India: Vizag Steel schedules 3,150 t pig iron and pooled iron auction

Vizag Steel, has scheduled two e-auctions for around 1,000 t of pig iron and 2,150 t of pooled iron on 27 Dec’21 and 28 Dec’21, respectively. At the steelmaker’s previous auction conducted for pooled iron on 20 Dec, buyers booked 1,000 t at INR 35,350/t exw and for pig iron on 16 Dec, buyers booked 1,000 t at INR 37,000/t exw. However, the company’s management cancelled the pig iron auction due to low price realisation.
