In April’13, India import of Flat steel (HR and CR) under chapter-72 were qty 2,27,700 MT approx; out of which HR imports were 1,34,000 MT and CR were nearly 93,700 MT. Import were down from March’13 as in the same period flat steel import stood at Qty 2,95,000 MT.
