CRCA busheling scrap prices witnessed a nominal correction of INR 300/t in the major markets except in the southern region where prices remained flat. Price correction in semi-finished steel limited induction furnaces’ buying interest, resulting in minor adjustments on a day-to-day basis. Current CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 41,000-41,400/t in Mandi Gobindgarh, INR 38,500-38,800/t in Chennai, and INR 38,500-38,900/t in Jalna, all on a DAP basis, excluding GST.
