Pakistan: Imported scrap prices fall to a two-month low

Around 5,000 t of imported Shredded scrap in containers from UK was booked by Pakistan-based steel mills at $538-540/t CFR, Qasim recently.
SteelMint’s assessment for shredded scrap has fallen to a two-month low and stands at $535-540/t CFR Qasim levels, down by $5/t d-o-d.
The fall in prices is attributed to absence of Turkish trades as well as limited buying from Pakistan mills since the past couple of weeks.
