India: Small Structure Mills running 8 hrs instead of 12

Structure demand has fallen drastically as compared to prices within this week. Meanwhile, plants are running under low production capacity.

Small Structure plants are running with low production capacity. Earlier, mills were operated for 12 hrs, however now it is been operated for 8 hrs owing to slow down in demand.

Slowdown in buying has resulted in price fall as well. Meanwhile, most of the manufacturers cut their productions on poor buying led to shortage in some specific sizes of light Structure.

Light Structure manufacturers expect demand to rise in coming days as shading work is going to begin on account of monsoon.

Falling Ingot & Billet prices resulted in price fall across the country.

Central India based well-known Structure brands offer reduced by INR 500/MT during the week.

Mumbai Structure offers reduced by INR 300/MT on slow buying. Durgapur market remains unchanged on buying stability.
