India: Bellary sponge iron prices fall slightly on soft demand

Sponge iron, C-DRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary declined by INR 100/t, while C-DRI prices, too, dropped by INR 50/t on 15 Dec’21, as per SteelMint assessment.

• Around 1,000 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 28,800-29,000/t against offers at INR 29,000/t exw.
• SteelMint’s price assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 30,000/t ($393/t). Around 900 t of deals were reported today.
