Indonesia: Ferrous scrap imports remain stable at 120,000 t in Oct’21

Indonesia’s imports of ferrous scrap were recorded at 120,000 t in Oct’21.
Imports remained stable on a m-o-m basis as a similar volume was imported in Sept, as per data maintained with SteelMint.
Australia was the largest supplier with 43,260 t, followed by Singapore and Hong Kong with 29,412 t and 29,057 t, respectively.
Imports from Japan, however, plunged 93% to 732 t in Oct’21 against 10,903 t in Sept.
