Vietnam’s leading steel producer, Formosa Ha Tinh, has lowered HRC (SAE 1006, skin pass) prices by $58/t to $825/t on CIF basis for Feb’22 deliveries, sources informed SteelMint. This comes on the back of a drop in imported HRC offers due to subdued domestic demand. Trade participants told SteelMint that the company might offer discounts in order to boost sales.
