Man Industries, a leading pipe manufacturer catering to American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, has recently booked 20,000 t of API X70 steel plates from China at around $900/t on CFR basis, SteelMint learnt from market sources. The company’s unexecuted order book currently stands at INR 1,650 crore. These orders will be executed in the coming six to seven months, sources informed.
