China: Steel inventory decreases by 2%, w-o-w

China’s steel inventory stands at 9.08 mn t on 10 Dec’21, a decline of 2% compared to 9.24 mn t a week ago, according to Lange Steel data.

• Steel sheet stocks remained largely stable at 4.53 mn t this week compared to 4.51 mn t a week ago.
• Construction steel stocks stood at 4.55 mn t, down 4% against 4.73 mn t a week ago.
