Eastern India-based Shyam SEL and Power, wholly-owned subsidiary of Shyam Metalics, has received Consent to Operate (CTO) for capacity expansion from the State Pollution Control Boards of Odisha and West Bengal.
- Having received approval for the CTO stage, the company announced a 20% increase in its sponge iron manufacturing capacity from 1.39 mn t to 1.67 mn t per annum. The company will commence operations at enhanced capacity from Dec’21.
