Wire rod prices in Raipur increased today by INR 1,000/t to INR 46,600/t exw, while trade discounts in the spot market by suppliers hovered at around INR 1,200-1,500/t owing to disparity in prices between sellers and resellers, which was also witnessed in the spot market. Improved trade enquiries and rising steel billet prices supported manufacturers to increase their offers, sources informed.
