SAIL conducted an auction today for 5,000 t of basic grade pig iron from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP). Buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 37,400/t exw, sources informed. Bid prices decreased by INR 2,100/t compared to the previous auction on 20 Nov. At the previous auction, 6,000 t of pig iron had been booked at INR 39,500/t exw.
