During the last 10-day period of Nov’21, the total production of crude steel of key steel mills covered under the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) was at 17.169 million tonnes (mn t), while pig iron output was at 16.3209 mn t, and finished steel, at 19.1094 mn t.
Specifically, the daily output of crude steel was at 1.7169 mn t, down 2.61% from the level of the preceding 10-day period. Pig iron’s average daily output was 1.6321 mn t, up 1.59% from the level of the preceding 10-day period. The daily output of finished steel was 1.9109 mn t, up 9.47% from that seen in the preceding 10-day period.
