- South Korean steel company SeAH Besteel is set to procure premium Japanese scrap (Shindachi-bara) at JPY 64,000/t ($564/t) CFR, as per reports in SteelDaily.
- However, since mid-Nov, the price of Shindachi scrap has been falling faster than H2 scrap. It is predicted that prices could touch a level below JPY 50,000/t ($440/t) FOB.
