India: Rebar trades improve on rising billet prices

Induction furnace rebar trades improved today in major markets on rising billet prices in the northern and central regions.

• 7,200 t of deals were confirmed for Fe 500 rebar at INR 44,000-44,200/t exw-Chailma (Jharkhand), concluded by Rungta TMT.
• About 5,000 t of deals were reported from Jalna at INR 47,200-47,500/t exw, while about 1,000 t were reported from the northern region at INR 46,800-47,000/t exw-Ghaziabad.
