SteelMint’s assessment for sponge iron, P-DRI (FeM 80%), is stable today at INR 26,800/t exw-Raipur. Prices attained stability on improved bids along with limited supply as a majority of plants were on maintenance shutdown.
- Trades were confirmed at INR 26,700-26,800/t on DAP basis. Although a few plants claimed that deals happened at INR 27,000-27,200/t exw, but these remained unconfirmed till the time of publication.
