Steel wire rod prices manufactured via the induction furnace route in Raipur, central India, fell by INR 500/t to INR 45,000/t exw on 6 Dec’21. Suppliers were heard offering a trade discount of around INR 1,500/t in the spot market. SteelMint learnt from sources that trade enquires witnessed a marginal improvement in today’s session.
